This is an excellent property with great hunting potential. The property is located with public land bordering it on three sides. Some of which is county land and some is state land. This property is located on a paved road and has year round access. To get off the HWY there is already an approach in and driveway leading back into the property. Once on the property there is a beautiful cleared opening where a trail leads out from there. The trail goes through a large portion of the higher ground aspen regeneration which is at a great age for grouse hunting. There is also a trail that leads out to various high ground islands on the property out across the wetland areas. These are excellent spots to catch deer crossing the open wetlands moving from patch to patch of high ground areas. While checking out the property I noticed several areas where deer and other game seemed to be traveling across from the islands to the larger areas of high ground. They left very evident trails some crossing the main trail and some following. These areas could be excellent options to hunt deer as they get bumped or pressured into finding more secure hiding spots. Looking at the maps and drone photos my imagination goes wild at the potential of all those high ground areas out on the public lands behind this property. This property has great deer, bear and grouse hunting opportunities. It's also located not terribly far from town.
