This is an absolutely beautiful property! As soon as I drove in the gate I new I was in for a treat as the trail/driveway was wide and well maintained flanked by large timber. As the driveway rounded the bend the beautiful cabin came into view! The cabin has a metal roof and hardie plank siding. Walking inside the cabin I was impressed by the beautiful woodwork throughout! Just in the front door is the kitchen and dining room. Then as you proceed from there you walk through the door into a beautiful living and sitting room on the rest of the main floor. There is also a back exit on in the sitting room. This main room has a vaulted ceiling and loft above it for sleeping, in which is accessed by a pull down ladder. The main portion of the cabin has a propane stove at one end then also a propane wall heater at the other end. The seller has the cabin set up to be powered by a generator. Just outside the cabin is a shipping container for extra storage. Just east of the cabin is a trail that leads you all the way to the back of the property and out to the county tax forfeit lands that abut this property on its eastern border. All the way along this trail you'll see a beautiful mix of mature timber. As you get towards the back of the property there are a couple openings near each other in the woods. They are both lower wetland type grass meadows. The smaller one had a little water in it when I checked the property out which is great for wildlife to have some water available the other opening was dry likely a seasonally wet area. Then around and between these openings it was very evident deer were using these areas as I saw lots of deer tracks and even some well defined trails working around and through this area. This property has excellent opportunities to hunt deer, bear, grouse and there are even a few turkey's in the area. So if you're looking for a beautiful cabin located back in beautiful mature Northwood's timber with excellent hunting potential this could be what you've been waiting for!
