For downhill skiing, Monarch and Breckenridge Ski Resorts are about an hour's drive from the Ranch. Ranch members can lease the 3 pastures for their horses. There is a riding arena, a RV storage lot, a dump station, a dog run with a picnic pavilion nearby, a trash compactor for the member's household garbage, a hiking trail, full-time Ranch Manager, three mailbox pods and there are two fire stations in the Ranch. Children can attend either schools in Fairplay in Park County or in Buena Vista in Chaffee County. The Hartsel Volunteer Fire Department provides excellent service to this community and an Emergency Health facility was recently constructed in Hartsel. Park County maintains, including plowing the snow in the winter, the 62 1/2 miles of county roads in the Ranch. Plan to visit this lot very soon.
