This home has easy access to the ''Rails to Trails'', the Downeast Sunrise trail system that runs from Charlotte to Ellsworth along the old rail bed, this is open to walkers, bikes, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles, horseback riding and skiing, and can be reached at the end of Center St extension. Bad Little Falls Park and the University of Maine are very close to this property, as well as the area restaurants, post office, schools and the hospital. Other close by areas of interest to be enjoyed are the beaches, Roque Bluffs state park is about 15 min away, 274 acre park offers a long sand beach on the ocean side and a fresh water pond on the other with a play yard for the kids.
