In regards to whitetail deer, this is a diverse tract for the bow & gun hunter alike. On multiple different visits to the farm, I have yet to not see several deer wandering around the farm. The hardwood pine forests offer what I would imagine to be the most ideal situations for the avid bowhunter. Loaded with mast producing hardwoods, these bottoms and ridges will be heavily traveled during deer season. The open pastures offer excellent opportunities for the gun hunter. Long range views will allow many opportunities to harvest deer roaming the pastures. There are several sites that would be more than suitable for large food plots if one desired. This is the type of tract where one could take their young kid and see 20+ deer on any given sit. This tract is loaded with whitetail deer & turkey, and with one visit to the farm that will be more than evident. The hunting pressure on this farm has been minimal over the years, and the sheer game numbers on the property will show. There are separate food plots tucked into one of the blocks of hardwoods. They are some of those food plots you set up in, and never want to leave. IMPROVEMENTS: There have been several improvements made to the farm as of late. There is a nearly 1000 square foot home nestled off of Otis Redding road amongst dozens of planted fruit & nut bearing trees. The cabin consists of one full bathroom, kitchen, nice sized common area, and an upstairs loft which is currently used as a bedroom. Lastly, there is an unfinished bath, which is already plumbed. The back porch of this property offers the opportunity to enjoy peaceful sunsets, and deer watching. The fruit trees currently planted on around the home include: Pears, Apples, Plums, Cherries, & Apricots. There are massive Pecan trees around the home as well.
