Directions:From Asheville, start by heading southeast on Interstate 26 East. After approximately 36 miles, take Exit 67 toward Columbus/Tryon. Merge onto NC-108 East and continue for about 3.5 miles into the town of Mill Spring. Once there, turn left onto NC-9 North and drive for roughly 1 mile. Then, turn right onto Grassy Knob Road and follow it for about 2.5 miles. The destination will be on your right. From Old Fort, start by heading west on U.S. Highway 70 for approximately 7 miles until you reach the town of Black Mountain. From there, merge onto Interstate 40 East and continue for about 20 miles to Exit 85 toward Marion. After exiting, follow U.S. Highway 221 South for roughly 15 miles to Rutherfordton. In Rutherfordton, take U.S. Highway 64 East and proceed for about 10 miles to the intersection with NC-9 South. Turn right onto NC-9 South and continue for approximately 5 miles. Then, turn left onto Grassy Knob Road and drive for about 2.5 miles; the destination will be on your left.
