Recreational opportunities in the area over 150k acres of federal land, The AuSable River and Big Creek for fishing and kayaking opportunities. Mio Dam Pond for fishing and boating. ATV and snowmobile trails. Several hiking trails. The cabin is 3 hours from Detroit, 2.5 hours from Lansing, under 3 hours from Grand Rapids.
