Movin’ On Up: The Hilary Swank Housing Story

When Hilary Swank put her Pacific Palisades home on the market, it showed everyone just how far she’d traveled since her early days growing up in a trailer park in Bellingham, Washington.

In addition to her early years in the trailer park, the A-list actress and her mom famously lived in their car for a short time upon moving to Los Angeles to pursue Swank’s Hollywood dreams. The actress earned parts in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Next Karate Kid before going on to Oscar glory. During her 2005 Oscar acceptance speech, Swank famously said, “I don’t know what I did in this life to deserve all of this. I’m just a girl from a trailer park who had a dream.”

Back in May, prior to listing her Pacific Palisades home, it was reported Swank broke up with her long-time boyfriend John Campisi. There’s no word as to where the A-list celebrity is moving to next, but it’s doubtful to be back in the trailer park she grew up in.
