Here’s Proof That Renaming U.S. State’s With Anagrams Is A Bad Idea

Overall, the names of all 50 U.S. states are very nice, and there’s little reason to change them… but what if we had to? What if each state had to create a name using only the letters in their existing name.  For example, if we were to rename the “United States” using an anagram, we could come up with odd names like “Stateside Nut” or “Situated Nest” or “Untasted Ties”. We put our ideas in the map above, but the options are endless, except for with Arizona, Mississippi, Alabama, and South Carolina. Those are too hard.
